Based on his father's real life experiences as a doctor in Afghanistan, Sean Harris Oliver's new play The Fighting Season investigates Canada's involvement in Afghanistan through the eyes of the medical personnel who served for our country abroad.

About the Playwright:


Sean Harris Oliver is an internationally produced playwright based out of Vancouver. He recently completed a ten-month writing mentorship under the guidance of Aaron Bushkowsky (SoloCollective Theatre). Sean's first play Bright Blue Future was a finalist for the BC Playwriting Competition, and will be professionally produced in February 2016 at Pacific Theatre. Sean is a graduate of Studio 58, and the recipient of the David Pritchard Memorial award.
