Bleeding Heart is an artist run, project based company focusing on contemporary text based productions, new play development, and dynamic re-imaginings of classic and contemporary plays.
Bleeding Heart began during the 2010-2011 season when Evan apprenticed with Pacific Theatre. His apprenticeship culminated in the Verona Project, a streamlined production of Romeo and Juliet, adapted and directed by Evan.
Bleeding Heart exists to produce plays that address socially relevant issues and ideas that are pertinent to the Vancouver community. We strive to continually explore collaborative processes, ensemble performance and compassionate practices.
